Well, there are different ways

You can inform yourself online.
This means hours of research on the Internet, much of which is only available in English, checking whether it is still up-to-date and true. Resist the distractions along the way, sort and file information.
You can hope that your visa provider, your colleagues, acquaintances, friends will support you. Hopefully this is included in your package, or does it cost extra? If, how long can you ask the questions, you will get all the answers. What if you don't even think about the important questions that are necessary?
You can just let things come to you.
Just do it and then see, after all, it's a big city, what could possibly go wrong. This can work well, or it can cost you a lot of stress, time and maybe money for mistakes.

FAQ
Why only Dubai? Does this also apply to the rest of the UAE?
Since I only live or have lived in Dubai, I can't tell you exactly how it works in other cities. Some things will be the same or similar, some will be different.
For example, there is another parking app for Abu Dhabi and in general Abu Dhabi is more quiet but also more conservative. For example, during Ramadan, all restaurants are closed until evening, while in Dubai everything is open.
When should I book or consume the course/watch the videos?
I strongly recommend booking the course BEFORE emigrating, the sooner the better.
It is worthwhile to look at some of the modules in advance, because some things should be decided, calculated, organized in advance. For example, a few points about the topic of money.
WHO are the courses for?
In general, for all those who are planning to emigrate to Dubai. The target group is certainly more Europeans and Australians, as we have similar demands and habits for everyday life, but you can't really generalize that.
The course is for singles as well as for couples or families. (A special course for families is still planned.) Employees, self-employed people as well as entrepreneurs should be found here. Most of the information concerns everyday life, that affects everyone. The Money module is not only for the self-employed and entrepreneurs, every employee should also know this information! Everyone certainly has some special topics, just read on in the next point.
Do you also offer VISA?
NO! I clearly focus on everything that takes place after the visa process.
There are many visa agencies in the UAE and everyone is welcome to choose their personal favorite. But I have a recommendation, for those who want one from me.
Make sure that they already have some experience in the UAE and have the right visa to help you. Ask enough questions and have all costs and follow-up costs explained to you and confirmed in writing!
I'm moving already in just a few weeks, is it still worth it?
YES, absolutely. Although the earlier the better, the majority of it is only after the visa is lost and some things can be done later or somehow still manageable.
